As the world turns..... McDonalds Edition

This just in, the October SMC Class for 2005 has officially ended. The Managers have now been set free and are off, returning to their daily way of life. This afternoons hot hamburger challenge proved to be eventful when The Fantasgreats managed to pull out a last minute victory. The Super managers club and The Big Cheeses coming in a far second.. with the McPumpkins (my group) coming in dead last at -700 points.

Alright, enough of the editorial type communication. To sum of the last week, its been great. I loved every minute of it... well... almost every minute of it, the videos were boring with the exception of the Hospitality Ques video. Ya know, Ronald, Grimice and Hamburgeraler are a rather intersting team.

So lets recap:
Monday.. day one
Spent the day talking about our internal customers ie. our crew people and how they affect customers. As well as the issues that our crew face in the work place and how we can coach and consul them. Woohoo...

Tuesday..
Talked a lot about hospitality, Securtiy and customer recovery. thrilling... really.

Wednesday.... restaurant day
Spent the day wandering around the Lynwood McDonalds, bugging their crew and making them raellllllllly nervous. A lot of fun actually. Though I had to resist the urg to start correcting procedures.

Spoke quite a bit on profit and profitability
Today... Last day
More on profit, had our final and played a game (kinda like jepordy) called Hot Hamburger...

This evening after I came home, I got a rather wonderful surprise.. found a letter from Japan in my mail box... Thank you Janessa!
